I think my emotions are simultaneously dragging me down and thrusting me into a creative art funk. My hormones have me wanting to cry at the drop of a hat: hearing certain bits of music, reading, you name it. I feel so inspired and yearn to create and jot out the bits and pieces in my brain, but when I sit down to do it, its like my brain and hand can't connect what I was wanting to draw. Its so frusterating, and I know I'm not the only one who knows what its like. >:c

I kind of want to have an art jam like I did when Natalie was here. Also I really think I'm going to try and enroll in an art course for the fall semester @ Metro. I'll make sure I can afford it. I'm tired of just... wandering around without a plan. I want to do what I love for a living! Just scrawl scribble blend cultivate my thoughts and ideas and expel them onto paper. I'm terrified, sure. I have all of these horrible expectations for myself; a crippling fear of failing. I think thats why I never directly chose to follow art. I was convinced that I would never make anything of myself and really I was giving up before I even started. It drives me nuts. All I can think of is a friend of mine from high school getting a full fucking ride to art school in Chicago and LEAVING halfway through her first semester because "she didn't like it." Yes, I understand maybe its not what she wanted but GOD DAMNIT. If I had worked my ass off, it could have been me. If I had given more of my fucking heart and soul, I could be done with school in a career or job that I couldn't wait to get to in the morning.

I've met so many outstanding and utterly amazing artists through the web during the past year; lovely, funny, kind, ridiculously talented people. I admire them all so much, I don't think I could ever fully express that. And shit, man. I want to be like that. I want to be a fucking artist.
